Minor Metro Baseball Divisions
AA Metro Division
The AA Minor Baseball program is designed for players league ages 6-8 that have had TBall experience. This level is a player/coach pitch that has a continuous batting order. The game is players on a 60 foot diamond with the pitching mound at 42 feet. There is no score kept as this is strictly an instructional level that teaches players the basics of catching, fielding, hitting, teamwork. There is a time limit if 1 hour and 45 minutes for regular season games. Players may only use bats with USA Baseball stamp on bat. Rosters may be composed of between 8 and 14 players.
AAA Metro Division
The AAA Minor Baseball program is designed for players league age 8 to 11 (12 Year Old's with a Parent/League/District waiver). This level will have teams travel to play Little League teams in District 13 during the regular season. This level will feature pitching from players only and will also have a continuous batting order. Scores and pitching records will be kept as there will be an end of year tournament for this level. AAA Minors continues to be an instructional program with a higher level of play differing from AA. There is a 1 hour and 45 minute time limit on games for the regular season. Bats may be 2 5/8" but must have the USA Baseball stamp on the bat. There are NO HOUSE RULES at this level. Games can begin with 8 players during regular season.
Majors Baseball Division
The Little League Baseball Division (also known as the Major Division) is for boys league ages 9-12. The game is played on a 60-foot diamond with the pitching distance at 46 feet.
The local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of league age 10-12-year-olds from within this division, and the team may enter the International Tournament.
The culmination of the International Tournament is the Little League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International regular season only.
